Guest Animation Projects
Infants are difficult to animate, they do not have bones, just assigned mesh parts. so you have to move the mesh parts and its very hard to do. so to make it easier for others I animated an infant with 12 poses starting with the base infant pose object mesh.
Download: Infant Model Poses set 1.blend
Instructions:
1) Download the infant model from the (models page)
2) Append it with my Animated Infant,
3) Highlight the "bones" all of them.
4) Find the infant pose you want to start with and copy and paste it from the animated model into the empty model's frame.
5) Hit (i) on your keyboard and select loc rot for each pose you want it to have along the time line leaving spaces (the larger the spaces the slower the movement).
6) Once it has the desired movement and you move the entire model all bones selected to the correct height and angle (you may need another model or object to make sure its aligned). delete all except the blank model you started with that is now animated.
7) Export as milkshape and save as a new animated name in blender format.
